Clinical Supervision

Social Care Consultancy agree with Burton and Launer who suggest that there is, “a set of values and assumptions which underpin supervision”.

These include beliefs that practitioners are normally to be trusted with their work and are self-monitoring, that reflection on experience and practice is a major resource and a view that supervision is a co-operative exercise between two people who share common beliefs and professional interests. (Burton J, Launer J, 2003)

At Social Care Consultancy we feel that supervision is an essential part of good quality practice, thus enabling individual's to practice to the best of their ability with high levels of integrity. We also feel that emotional competence or intelligence is essential to quality practice.

Please contact us through the web site for a discussion of your supervision needs, whether they be individual or organisational. We meet with all potential organisations or individuals first, without obligation, to ensure that we can meet each others needs.
