Group Work
We offer a range of groups for adult and youth.
Groups have proven efficacy for areas such as social skills (particularly with young people), mental health and alcohol & other drugs.
We can offer bespoke packages or support around ‘off the shelf’ group work.
Clinical Supervision
We currently provide clinical supervision to a range of staff from an increasing variety of organisations. Currently we offer supervision to managers, qualified and non-qualified practitioners. Clinical, operational (management), cultural and student supervision are all available through our company. We also offer group supervision. We have supervisors of Maori and Pakeha descent.
Staff Training
A variety of training courses are offered by Social Care Consultancy. These include courses such as Managing Aggression, Risk Management and Empathic Handling.
Alcohol and Other Drugs
Social Care Consultancy have a qualified and registered social worker with specialist training in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) field including dual diagnosis. They are also registered with The Drug and Alcohol Practitioners’ Association, Aotearoa - New Zealand (DAPAANZ).
