He has a good deal of experience in dual diagnosis work with all age groups; both in terms of intellectual disability/ mental ill-health and mental ill health/substance use.

As part of his experiences, Simon has managed and clinically supervised many unqualified and qualified staff in a variety of settings. He is of the opinion that good quality, robust supervision is essential in assuring that staff work in an appropriately professional manner
and to a high standard.

In addition to supervision, Simon is particular interested in supporting organisations to develop and operate good quality staff management. He is experienced and qualified in management consultancy and mediation within health and social care agencies.
